about

This summer, Glamour Hammer introduced himself by releasing the enchanting 80’s love track 'Stay With Me'. Following his debut single, he is now releasing ’Really Over’, a song that takes you on a sunny roadtrip through the outbacks in an attempt to cheer you up after that bad break up.

Glamour Hammer begun flirting with the idea of attaching himself and his music between atmospheric soul, 80’s arena rock and house music. ’Really Over’ is the second out of a collection of true love songs that he’s created. To best describe him, think Kid Bloom perfectly blended with M83.

This sentimental ”post-love” song deals with the conflicting emotions that may follow when a long relationship ends and all ones future plans needs to be rewritten. Even if it can be terrifying to start anew, once you’ve revved up the engine aging, there’s an open road ahead.

Glamour Hammer taps in to the sound palette of the late 70’s and early 80’s through an eclectic blend of disco, rock and soul smothering you with a gust of nostalgia. The man behind the mysterious alter ego is yet to be known, hiding his identity to create full attention towards the new project.

lyrics

Here we are now at the final act
between the dying past and the new beginning
You've packed your bags and you are
ready to go.
When I look into your eyes I wonder
is it really over?
Is it really over?

Everything is changing
except my mind.
Tomorrow is a blur that I can't imagine.
Hear the seagulls calling.
They're waiting for you
while I just stay down here and wonder
is it really over?
Is it really over?

I keep forgetting that this is happening
so please forgive me if I don't make a lot of sense right now.
When you have gone I might understand the concept of a whole new kind of life without you.

Here we are now at the final act
between the dying past and the new beginning
You've packed your bags and you are
ready to go.
When I look into your eyes I wonder
is it really over?
